Abstract
Arabic, as the language of the Qur'an, holds deep aesthetic and meaningful values, making its mastery essential in Islamic education, particularly for understanding thematic texts such as the pilgrimage (Hajj and Umrah) material. However, in practice, many students struggle to memorize and comprehend vocabulary due to the lack of engaging teaching methods. This study aims to improve the vocabulary acquisition of Grade XI Madrasah Aliyah students through the taqdim al-qissah method (storytelling), combined with illustrated flash card media. The research employed a qualitative approach in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR), utilizing observation, interviews, documentation, and written tests. The results indicate that this approach enhances students' learning interest and strengthens their memory of vocabulary taught in a contextual and visual manner. Therefore, the use of the taqdim al-qissah method supported by flash cards proves effective in Arabic language learning, especially in vocabulary acquisition.
